The problem on the essence of "physical culture" phenomenon is central in sciences physical education and sports. In recent decades, it has been given special attention, an eloquent proof being fact that curricula a new discipline study widely implemented: "Theory methodology culture". At same time, there are conceptual difficulties: "physical" "cultural" already revealed initial treatment notion. It should be noted situation as whole is, at paradoxical, because, sphere philosophical-cultural knowledge, lasting tradition considering basic, immanent component culture itself. Practically analysis leads, always to confrontation social with material, sharpening question regarding their real correlation, arises broad context fundamental discussion.
